Yes, I know. I haven't submitted much lately. And no, I have NOT CANCELLED Dead Parrot Store. Now that the obvious is out of the way, let's take a gander at this plucky picture.

I've been on a bit of a Puyo Puyo rush lately. When it comes to games, I have constant mood swings. The above is more of a bit of my opinion, really, so let's break it down:

Red Puyo: So why hasn't any of the sequels of the older games been released outside of Japan in any form? We probably might be able to handle a Mean Bean 2 or Kirby's Avalanche/Ghost Trap 2 or something. There was this LONG break between the MBM and Avalanche release and the release of Puyo Pop for the Neo Geo Pocket Color and Game Boy Advance. Meh.

Yellow Puyo: Thanks to some smarter minds at Sega and Sonic Team at the current time, we finally got to see the original cast of Puyo Puyo. Now everyone knows these characters definitely exist and there's no longer much reason to make another edited game.

Blue Puyo: It's very difficult for people here in the western part of the world to play the original games. Fortunately, with an emulator, you can get the first two games, but according to my sources, the third game, Puyo Puyo Sun, was also ground-breaking. I haven't found any easy ways to get this game other than by importing, but if I do, you'll be the first to hear it.

Violet Puyo: If Sega would just make something like this, this little rant wouldn't matter anymore. Hopefully, when the series becomes 20 years old, we may get something like this. Until then, we can only pray that people like them are reading this.

Green Puyo: Just because.

Puyo Puyo is (c) to SEGA/Sonic Team (formally Compile).

I remember playing that game on my Sega Genesis. It was called "Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine". Puzzle games are cool.

Puyo Puyo? This is Eggman's Mean Beans!

We love one another
But what does that mean?
Are we limit by spirit, forced apart by machine?
Love transcends bound, transcends consequence and meaning.
Does that limit it? Does that tarnish its sincerity? Just the opposite.
I love you.
I agree with the green Puyo heh anyway I like how you drew them and colouring is good too nice work and keep it up ^^

Well an author's job is never done till next time readers
Actually, Puyo Puyo came first. Mean Bean was only the "Americanized" version of the game. You can read about it here:
